When booking our wedding and honeymoon, we had no idea where to go – we just knew we wanted somewhere special! Andrea was fantastic at advising us of the different places to consider – her knowledge of the countries and resorts was second to none. She then went on to tell us about a place called Secrets Excellence in Mexico where she had just returned from and we immediately knew it was the place we were going to get married. It was so nice to have a first hand account of the hotel and resort rather than just picking out of a brochure. Andrea had taken time to take ‘real’ photos of the hotel so we could get a better idea of what to expect. Our honeymoon in Sri Lanka and the Maldives was the perfect finish to what had been a dream wedding. Many thanks to Andrea and the team for their personal approach and for taking the time to piece together an idyllic honeymoon. The service offered by Travel Link is second to none and unique, I can’t think of another travel agent that would stay late or come into the office early on a Sunday, just because it suits the client.

John and I wanted to get married abroad in Cyprus and Travel Link was recommended to us.
From the moment we set foot in the door the staff at Travel Link were very friendly and did everything they could to help us choose the right Wedding Package that suited us. We had looked at several hotels in the Paphos area, but fortunately for us Andrea was able to give us full details about the hotel we eventually chose as she had actually been out to Cyprus and viewed the hotel.
Andrea dealt with all aspects of the wedding package from booking the hotel, to the wedding and arranging the meal back at the hotel after the wedding ceremony. Any questions we had were answered or found out for us straight away.
The hotel we chose was the “Alexander The Great Beach Hotel” and I think we made the best choice, it is a 4* and has beautiful décor and everyone that worked for the hotel was very friendly and was there to help you. I liked the idea of being allocated a sun bed upon arrival so no-one else can take your bed no matter what time of day you go down to the pool side.
There is a great sandwich shop opposite the hotel and various tavernas that offer excellent meals at a reasonable price.
I would definitely recommend that anyone getting married abroad book their wedding through Travel Link. They offer a choice of specialist tour operator’s such as Olympic who we found provided a first class service and were not too expensive. The representatives are very helpful and when they meet you they discuss everything that you have picked for your wedding, what you still require and any changes they will do for you. The day of the wedding was brilliant and we could not pick any faults with it. The flowers, wedding cars etc were all there on time.
We love Paphos and will go again and again.

We stayed in the Azia Beach Hotel where we had a full ceremony in their little church that was brilliant white and felt so perfect. Prior to the hotel wedding we had the Civil ceremony at the Peyia town hall, this was set outside, close to what I can only describe as an ancient Cypriot ruin.
We all know that it’s every young girl’s dream to have the perfect wedding, thanks to Andrea and Travel link this was made possible. Andrea went out of her way to make sure our day was perfect she isn’t just a travel agent she makes it personal, which made it special for us.
Once we got to our resort we had a full upgrade and a letter waiting for us from Natalie who was our wedding organiser with Olympic. It was nice to be met pretty much immediately, as we were pretty worried about what needed to be done. We were really nervous until we sat and had our first consultation with Natalie. Natalie was a lovely girl with a bubbly personality who quickly went about putting our minds at rest by organising everything. At times she seemed super human as she organised the hair appointments, the photography, flowers, cake, you name it, she did it.
All of this help allowed Steven and I to get on with the important things i.e. getting a nice tan for the big day. What can I say? It was the best day of our lives we didn’t have to worry about a thing, everything was PERFECT.
None of this would have been possible without Andrea’s continued help throughout.

What can we say – the service from Andrea and the team was fantastic from the moment we walked into the office. The advice and suggestions form our dedicated Honeymoon Coordinator were first class. We were initially considering Italy that was until we were shown a glimpse of paradise, Pangkor Laut, just off the west coast of Malaysia.
Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept informed all the way as Andrea put those special finishing touches to what was a fantastic and very special honeymoon.

The day we went into Travel Link to book our wedding abroad we knew exactly what we wanted, paradise, a desert island, somewhere beautiful where we would be able to have the time of our lives. Was this possible?
Andrea and the team found us Pangkor Laut a privately owned island off the west cost of Malaysia, what we thought looked amazing and we immediately knew it was ideal for our wedding.
We did worry for weeks was this really going to be as perfect as we had hoped for and had we made the right decision?
All we can say is that we were the luckiest people in the world to be on the most beautiful island. The accommodation, facilities, scenery and the fantastic staff surrounding us on our wedding day and honeymoon made this so special. Our wedding day was of course perfect but it was 100 times better than we ever thought it would be. Our wedding co-ordinator Zainal was fabulous, very friendly and helpful and really went out of his was to ensure that our day was perfect. It sounds so typical but it really was the time of our lives.

Andrea and her team at Travel Link organised our month long honeymoon superbly, every last detail was arranged to perfection including surprises that were set up without the Bride’s knowledge!
Andrea came up with some excellent options for us to choose from and made sure our every need was catered for. Our initial brief of a month in Africa turned into a once in a lifetime experience taking in sights and sounds we would not have even considered if it had not been for Andrea’s suggestions. We stayed in the best hotels, a hut in a tree and a tent in the middle of a game reserve with elephants rubbing themselves up against the walls at night – what more could you ask for?

Steve and I had planned to get married abroad with a few close family and friends attending the wedding. We decided to get married at Ayia Napa Monastery in Cyprus in July 2005.
We bumped into Andrea at a Wedding Fayre at the MetroCentre and explained what we wanted for our big day. She was more than happy to sort all of the arrangements out for us.
The initial booking started out at around 15 people, with the plan being that we would all stay in the same apartments for the first week. Steve and I would then move on to a luxury hotel for the second week. Andrea organised this for us without any problems.
As we started planning the wedding in more detail, the booking increased to 28 people, which Andrea managed with no problems. We hit a minor glitch when the company we were booking through went into liquidation… Again, Andrea came to the rescue, dealing with all the stress around finding another company who would take on our booking.
Andrea has great contacts in the wedding sections of the travel agencies, and was therefore able to speak to individuals direct who were dealing with our booking.
The contacts out in Cyprus are absolutely amazing – Andrea was able to find out who our wedding co-ordinator was, and we were able to contact her before flying out to ensure flowers, cake, table decorations etc.. were all what we needed.
The wedding reception was held in a marquee on the beach in Ayia Napa and was absolutely perfect. There were over 50 people at the wedding, which made it even more special. This was organised in advance of us flying out, by being able to contact the wedding co-ordinator in advance.
We cannot thank Andrea and her team enough for all their help, advice and support with arranging a wedding abroad. We would recommend Travel Link to anyone who is planning to get married abroad.

My fiance and I had our hearts set on going to the Maldives for our honeymoon and wanted to enjoy a 5 star luxury resort. We researched on the internet and with various high street travel agents which resort we wanted to book - this being the One & Only Kanuhuru. However, we were becoming increasing frustrated by these agent's service and lack of ability to be flexible on what flights they could offer and not keeping to their price promises. We then heard about Travel Link through a friend and booked an appointment to see Andrea. Andrea and her team were extremely accommodating and gave a very personal touch to booking a holiday. They spend time to explain everything to us and gave us reassurance and knowledge about the quality of the One & Only resorts (based on first hand experience) - they also couldn't be beaten on price!
The Maldives was a perfect and romantic setting for our honeymoon and the resort exceeded our expections - weather, food, service and travel were exceptional. Andrea made every effort to ensure we got first class treatment and some lovely honeymoon treats, which were wonderful and very special. The Ladera hotel in St Lucia which we chose for our wedding and honeymoon was absolutely perfect and far exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t have been any better, set up in the mountains with a breathtaking view of the world heritage Pitons. Everyone should definitely visit Peru at least once in their life! We have been wanting to do Macchu Pichu for a long time now and finally managed to take out the time to do it. I contacted several travel agents to provide me with a quote for what we wanted to do and Travel Link was by far the most helpful and was the most competitive quote we received.Andrea was a real star, she was extremely patient with all the changes I asked to be made to the itinerary and really went the extra mile in arranging for us to talk to people who had done the trek and also helping us out when we were out there and had lost our bags! It really was the trip of a lifetime. All the hotels that were chosen for us were better than we could have ever hoped for and the trek itself was amazing!

Clare and I gave Travel Link short notice to organise our honeymoon to the Maldives and Dubai. From the very start they were professional, thorough and helpful.
Even if Andrea had not been to one of the places we wanted to go to, she always found somebody who had. All of her advice was fair, balanced and detailed.
We had used the company before to go on a two Centre holiday to Thailand and so we knew that after the hectic arrangements of the wedding, the honey moon would be well organised and, if there were any hitches, Andrea, despite the fact she was thousands of miles away, would be able to sort them out.
The honey moon itself was fantastic starting with a business class flight to the Maldives then 14 nights on an exotic island in the middle of nowhere. The food, accommodation and service were exceptional.
However, the time in Dubai was truly memorable. Four nights in a fantastic five star hotel in glorious weather with the best service and accommodation we have ever stayed in - by a distance.
As a final point the Bridal Registry service - where wedding guests can contribute to the honey moon was well organised and a great help to our very busy friends.

Honeymoon Maldives & Dubai - 16th July 2007
When we decided we wanted a honeymoon to remember, we decided (upon recommendation) to contact Andrea at Travelink. We were very open to suggestions - however what we did know was that we wanted somewhere quiet and small. Armed with very little information from us, Andrea went on a 'mission' to find us our dream destination. And what a dream it was.......
We newly-weds arrived at our hotel (Emelisse Art Hotel, Kefalonia) at night in pretty strong winds following a taxi ride which felt like our own personal guide to the breathtaking island of Kefalonia (organised by Andrea!). We awoke the next morning and were thrilled with the setting, the view - everything!
I could wax lyrical all day about our honeymoon - the staff and the hotel facilities were exceptional. The rooms weren't plush or palatial but this didn't matter to us - the hotel was wonderful. Our time there felt like a week of pure indulgence with fabulous food, wonderful Greek hospitality and total relaxation.
I cannot thank Andrea enough for finding us this 'gem' - it was a beautiful end to a wonderful wedding. It was a perfect place to begin life as Mr & Mrs!

"Andrea helped us to arrange our honeymoon to Brazil. We'd never used a travel agent before - we'd always arranged our holidays ourselves using guidebooks and, more recently, the internet. I had never quite understood people would pay a premium for a service when they could do it themselves.
We'd originally starting researching our possible honeymoon destinations ourselves. We'd both travelled quite widely in our youth and wanted this holiday to be something different to our normal sort of holiday. We had so many different ideas but with a whole world out there, plus all the time being taken up by the wedding we weren't getting anywhere fast.
So I went into to Travellink and met Andrea. She immediately got to work understanding what we wanted – not what she thought we would want. We discussed the different ideas we had and she helped me get it down to a shortlist of two, (Chile and Brazil) clearly explaining the different activities and places to visit in a way that a guidebook would never be able to do.
With the help of Journey Latin America and Cox and Kings, we worked out a couple of itineraries and all the various plane and transfer times. We went through about 10 different possibilities (all priced, researched and scheduled). Andrea was unbelievably helpful and patient – always willing to find out the further information and happy to talk to other organisations to get the information we requested. She was even prepared to make a "fake itinerary" when I was thinking of arranging a surprise holiday for my (now) wife.
We were kept fully informed at all times, by telephone or email. Additionally Andrea said we could contact her at any time, even in out of office hours. I often went into the office to talk through developments. Plus she let all the hotels and tour operators know that we were on our honeymoon meaning that we got various free upgrades and bottles of champagne etc.
My experience with Travellink has completely changed my opinion to travel agents. The first hand (or access to) experience is so valuable when planning a holiday of a lifetime. They also have access to cheaper offers than an individual may have. But I think the main reason for the change is the professional, helpful and understanding approach at Travellink. Andrea took all of the hassle out of arranging the holiday – the whole experience was great – the research, discussions booking and, most importantly, the actual holiday!"
